Local PTSAs
With more than 133,000 members, Washington State PTA (WSPTA) is the largest volunteer organization in Washington dedicated to supporting the education, health, welfare, and safety of all children. When you join PTA, you help support local, state, and national efforts that improve the lives of children and their families.
A WSPTA membership provides valuable benefits, including local and statewide discounts, advocacy opportunities, scholarships, programs, volunteer support, services for local PTAs and councils, and training for PTA leaders. Additional information about membership discounts is available on the Washington State PTA website: Member Discounts.
Join a Riverview PTSA
The Riverview PTSA Council supports six local PTSAs—one at each school in our district. By joining your local PTSA, you not only support your school community, but also have a voice at the Council, Washington State PTA, and National PTA levels.
Your membership helps strengthen our collective voice and supports programs and opportunities that benefit students, families, and our entire Riverview School District community.
To become a PTSA member in the Riverview School District (RSD), you can join through one or more of the six school PTSAs. Please note that PTSA membership is school-specific. For example, membership at Cherry Valley does not automatically include membership at Tolt. PTSA memberships are valid for one school year and must be renewed annually.
Each PTSA is an independent nonprofit corporation and sets its own membership fee. Membership fees may vary from school to school. Some schools have fewer fundraising opportunities and therefore rely on a slightly higher membership fee to help support the PTSA programs and activities they provide.

Awards!
At the June 23, 2020 Riverview School Board Meeting, Council was presented with the 2020 Community Service Award. This award recognizes partner groups who make a significant difference for students, and we are proud to support our Riverview students, staff and families, with a special focus on community mental health in the 2019-2020 year.
On May 17, 2019, Riverview Superintendent Dr. Anthony Smith and the Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA Metro Region 110) honored Riverview PTSA Council with a Community Leadership Award. We are proud to partner with Riverview School District in our goal of the betterment of families for the benefit of children.
