Introducing… Your 2021-2022 Riverview PTSA Council Board of Directors!
My name is Lindsey Tolson and I am Riverview PTSA Council President for the 2021-2022 school year. My husband, Mitch, and I are blessed with 4 kiddos: Stone (8th grade), Brody (6th grade), Rogue (4 years old), Jet (8 months old). I have been PTSA’ing for the past 7 years, mostly at Stillwater Elementary. I’ve served as president, treasurer, vice president, communications chair, fundraising chair and a myriad of other lead volunteer positions for Stillwater. In addition, I previously served on council as vice president and president in 2018-2020. This year, without a student at Stillwater Elementary, I decided to say goodbye to the Stillwater PTSA board and turn my focus back to PTSA Council. Council’s mission to support, mentor, educate and empower local PTSAs is close to my heart, and I’m excited to be serving on council again. I have a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and I am a project manager for Amazon working on outbound transportation solutions. I absolutely love this community, and I am very grateful for the relationships I have formed while PTSA’ing.
Hi, my name is Lori Rush and this is my first year serving on the board for the PTSA council as co-Vice President. I have been a board member of the Stillwater Elementary PTSA for the past two years. My husband Jon and I have two daughters; Kendall (third grade) and Josie (kindergarten). I love how the PTSA does so many things to help positively impact our schools, students, and the community. I am excited to be a part of the PTSA council board to help contribute to the continued success of our local PTSAs.
Hi! I am Lise (pronounced “Lisa” – it’s Scandinavian) Richardson, Riverview PTSA Council co-VP in 2021-22. My husband and I have had a busy life with our triplets, two of whom are seniors at CHS and the third is a senior at RLC. I remember their first day of Kindergarten at Stillwater like it was yesterday. The adage is true: the days are long and the years are short. I’ve served on Council in multiple positions for the last 5 years, most recently as Treasurer. I feel like I’ve been a professional volunteer for over a decade; now I am also a full-time graduate student. I am excited to serve with the new Board; there is a fun energy and we all have a strong commitment to the Riverview school PTSAs. It is going to be a great year!
Hi! My name is Rachel DelCarmen and I am the incoming PTSA Council treasurer! I have two sons, Liam and Kieran. They’ll be at Tolt and Stillwater this school year. Big changes for us. I have volunteered since my oldest entered Stillwater in kindergarten and it’s my favorite. I’ve been involved with PTSA at Stillwater and have been able to be the parent rep on two school committees. I also work with the REF board as their treasurer. When I’m not driving the boys to All. The. Sports or volunteering I love spending time with family and friends and being outside as much as possible. Really looking forward to helping other local treasurers in the valley love being treasurers and making everyone want to be one.
My name is Sara Balsley. I have two sons at Tolt in 6th and 8th Grade. I also have a 3-year-old daughter starting preschool this fall. This is my second year serving on the Riverview Council board as Secretary. The majority of my PTSA experience has been as part of the Carnation Elementary PTSA which I have loved. PTSA has given me a way to serve and connect with our community and I am blessed to be a part of it.
Hello, I am Salwa Raphael, and I am happy to be on the Riverview PTSA Council Board for a second year.
